COMHALTAS GARDA VETTING

Garda Vetting is mandatory for all branch personnel including teachers who have frequent access with children and vulnerable adults.

 

Vetting Invitation NVB Form 1 needs to be filled out and posted to Tomás Ó Maoldomhnaigh, Garda Vetting Liaison Person. Minors between 16 years and 18 years will be required to complete NVB Form 1 & NVB Form 3.

 

All persons vetted in 2018 will individually receive a notice to apply for re-vetting during 2021.

AN BUNREACHT

Comhaltas is governed by the rules set out in the Bunreacht (Constitution). All units are advised to familiarise themselves with it each year. (A printed copy is available from Head Office - €10).

DATA PROTECTION/GDPR

It is understood that all CCÉ units consider and process personal data on membership application forms, affiliation documentations, correspondence and other branch documentation in an appropriate manner. CCÉ has provided information and guidelines to its units in relation to GDPR.

NATIONAL MUSIC DRAW

Units that have not already applied for Draw tickets are again encouraged to do so as a means of generating income locally and illustrating the Comhaltas initiative in raising finances at a national level. This year’s Draw includes additional incentives for units

RÉ NUA NA nÓG

Each Branch of Comhaltas was issued with a Ré Nua na nÓg book in 2017 which is be used as appropriate by the Branch Oifigeach na nÓg. Additional copies may be requested from Head Office
